Friendly staff on check-in, lobby area had a cool aesthetic, a nice restaurant and bar added on and a comfortable seating area. It has a proper pool and outdoor seating area. Rooms were modern, spotless and the beds were comfortable and well equipped. However, once again a common let down for Generator hostels is their lack of self-catering facilities. It is a bare essential in my opinion, especially when the provided restaurant is on the expensive side and has limited options.

Books, my reservation for two beds in the same room upon arriving they had moved us into two separate rooms and would not accommodate unless Hostelworld call them and stated it was OK for them to upgrade us to a single room. Hostelworld emailed me back the next day and told me that there was nothing that they could do. We had already got a refund from the hostel and stayed at a different hotel. Also, I would not refund me my deposit, even though the hostel refunded me the total. Very unpleasant
